About us

The society was formed in 1997 to continue the interest sparked by earlier WEA classes. It is run by and for the benefit of its members. The society meets once a month between September andMay and has a programme arranged to satisfy a variety of interests through talks, visits and practical recording of information.

The objective of the society is to enable the people of Cuffley and the surrounding areas of South East Hertfordshire and North London to pursue their interest in our industrial heritage.
